NAME
stop3270 - stop EXPRESS TN3270-C
SYNOPSIS
stop3270 [SmName] [ -C PipeDirectory]
DESCRIPTION
When EXPRESS TN3270-C is running in the background to sup-
port HLLAPI user programs, use the stop3270 script to stop
EXPRESS TN3270-C terminal emulation. Use this script only if
the HLLAPI user program is not written to automatically stop
EXPRESS TN3270-C when the HLLAPI program terminates.
When EXPRESS TN3270-C does not run in the background, it can
be stopped from the System Administration menu in Control
Mode or by using the EXIT function from a host session. See
the EXPRESS TN3270-C User's Guide for more information.
OPTIONS
SmName
Specifies the configuration name for the instance of
EXPRESS TN3270-C that you wish to stop. The SmName
corresponds with the name for the Session Manager con-
figuration file used to start EXPRESS TN3270-C, if a
configuration file was used. The default is Default.
-C PipeDirectory
Specifies the directory containing shared memory key
pipes for the instance of EXPRESS TN3270-C that you
wish to stop (This option is only needed if you have
rearranged your EXPRESS TN3270-C directory structure
after installation). The default directory is
$HOME/Express/tn3270c/pipes/$LOGNAME. If the directory
does not exist, the default is
$COMMLINK/pipes/$LOGNAME.
