PSICI(3g) — Subroutines
Name
PSICI − Creates or redefines an interior color index.
Operating States: PHOP, ∗, STOP, ∗
PHIGS standard function
Creates a structure element
Syntax
PSICI (COLI)
Argument Data Type Access Description
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
COLI Integer Read Color index
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description
PSICI creates or redefines an interior color index, which points to an entry in the workstation color table. Depending on the current edit mode, this function either inserts the new structure element directly after the element indicated by the pointer or replaces the element indicated by the pointer. The pointer then points to the new set interior color index element.
The set interior color index element has the following effects during structure traversal:
•Digital PHIGS sets the current interior color index entry in the PHIGS traversal state list to the specified value. If the corresponding current interior color index ASF entry is INDIVIDUAL, Digital PHIGS uses this value when traversing subsequent fill area, fill area 3, fill area set, and fill area set 3 primitives. If the corresponding ASF value is BUNDLED, this function has no effect on primitives created subsequent to the call.
•Digital PHIGS uses index value 1 if the requested interior color index is not available on the workstation.
If Digital PHIGS is in immediate mode, it performs this function immediately, but the function does not create a structure element.
