PSC3(3g)  —  Subroutines

Name

PSC3 − Creates a 3D homogeneous transformation matrix that performs the specified scaling.

Operating States: PHOP, ∗, ∗, ∗
PHIGS standard function

Syntax

PSC3 (FX, FY, FZ, ERRIND, XFRMT)

Argument        Data Type      Access   Description
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
FX, FY, FZ      Real           Read     Scale factor vector
ERRIND          Integer        Write    Error indicator
XFRMT(4,4)      Array of       Write    Transformation matrix
                reals
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Description

PSC3 creates a three-dimensional (4 x 4) homogeneous transformation matrix that performs the specified scaling.  The returned matrix can be passed to functions that require transformation matrices as input, such as the PSLMT3, PSGMT3, and PCOM3 functions.  To store a matrix in a structure element, you must pass it to the PSLMT3 or PSGMT3 function.
