Description

PMSGS specifies a workstation identifier and the message text.  The message text appears on the workstation surface at an implementation-specific location or on a separate device associated with the workstation.  This function may have a local effect on the workstation.  For example, the message might request that the operator change the paper in a plotter before a picture is regenerated.
