Syntax

PDEL ( )

Description

PDEL deletes the element indicated by the element pointer.  If the element pointer has a value of 0 (that is, if it points before the first element), the function takes no action.  Otherwise, the value of the pointer is decreased by 1 and points to the element that preceded the deleted element.
