Allows you to exit from MAIL.   You  can  also  exit  from  MAIL  by
  pressing <CTRL/Z>.  When you enter the EXIT command, any messages in
  the WASTEBASKET folder  are  deleted  unless  you  have  entered the
  SET NOAUTO_PURGE command.
