EVE DELETE_WINDOW — VMS 5.4

 DELETE WINDOW

Deletes the current window, if you are using two or more windows in EVE.

 Steps:

    1. Put the cursor anywhere in the window you want to delete
(see help on NEXT WINDOW or PREVIOUS WINDOW).

    2. Use DELETE WINDOW.

 Example:

If you have two windows (as at the left below), DELETE WINDOW deletes
the current window and enlarges the other window to fill the available
    space:

+---------------+ +---------------+ The cursor appears at
       | ALPHA.TXT | | [] cursor | your last position in
       | | | | the buffer in the other
       |---------------| | | window---in this case,
       |[] cursor | | ALPHA.TXT | your last position in
       | BETA.TXT | | | ALPHA.TXT.
       +---------------+ +---------------+

 Usage notes:

o To delete all the other windows, leaving the current window, use the
    ONE WINDOW command.

o Deleting a window does not delete the buffer in that window.

o For more information about using multiple windows in EVE, see help on
    Windows.
