=TITLE Context Sensitive Help
 This topic provides information about context-sensitive
 help. Context-sensitive help is help text that is
 displayed when you press the Help key and then click
 on an object on your workstation screen.

 For example:

 1. Move the mouse pointer to the Clock display.

 2. Press and hold the Help key.

 3. Click on MB1.

    When you release MB1, context-sensitive help
    displays a help window containing an overview of
    the Clock.

Analog clk

 Clock displays analog time as it would appear on a
 normal clock face, including the minute and hour hands.

 To display analog time, click on the Analog button in
 the Settings... dialog box.

Overview

 The DECwindows Clock displays the date, a digital
 clock, and an analog clock. You can also set an alarm
 that displays a message on your screen and display time
 using 12- or 24-hour digital time.

 You interact with the clock by choosing one of the
 clock menus: File, Customize, and Help. Each menu
 contains a pulldown menu with menu items that you can
 select.

 Alternatively, you can display the Settings... dialog
 box by double clicking mouse button 1 (MB1) anywhere in
 the Clock display (except in the title bar).

 For information about using Clock, double click on an
 item from the list of additional topics below.

 For information about using help, choose Using Help
 from the Help menu above.

 Information about using DECwindows, such as how to use
 windows, dialog boxes, and scroll bars, is available
 from Session Manager help. A glossary of DECwindows
 terms is also available. To get Session Manager help:

 1. Move the pointer to the Session Manager icon (the
    icon with your user name and the name of your
    system) in the Icon Box.

 2. Press mouse button 1 (MB1) twice quickly to display
    the Session Manager window.

 3. Move the pointer to the Help menu; press and hold
    MB1 to pull down this menu.

 4. Move the pointer to the Overview menu item and
    release MB1 to display information about using
    DECwindows.

 You can customize the clock display to include any
 combination of the date and time regions. To change the
 clock display, choose Settings... from the Customize
 menu. A dialog box appears.

 If the toggle button for Analog, Digital, or Date,
 is highlighted, Clock displays the associated field.
 If the toggle button for 24 Hour Digital Time is
 highlighted, Clock displays the digital time using a
 24-hour time format.

 Click MB1 on a highlighted toggle button to turn the
 display off, or click on a toggle button that is not
 highlighted to turn the display on.

 To save your new clock characteristics, click on the
 OK button. To cancel your changes, click on the Cancel
 button.

 You can use the alarm to remind you of appointments.
 To set the alarm, you can choose Settings... from the
 Customize menu or double click on the clock, which then
 displays a dialog box.

 1. Click on the Alarm toggle button to switch the
    alarm on. The alarm is on if the toggle button is
    darkened.

 2. Click on the hours field and type the hour at which
    the alarm will go off. Click on the minutes field
    and type the minute at which the alarm will go off.
    Clock allows you to specify standard time or the
    24-hour time system (1300 hours to 2400 hours).

 3. Click on either the AM or PM radio button if you
    specify standard time.

 4. Click on the alarm message field and type your
    message. The alarm message can contain up to 200
    characters.

 5. To confirm the new settings, click on the OK button.
    To cancel your settings, click on the Cancel button.

 off. To shut off an alarm, click on the Acknowledged
