REFRESH

 Refreshes (repaints) the screen, typically to remove extraneous characters
 that are the result of a system broadcast.

 RERFRESH also clears the message window at the bottom of the screen
 layout.  However, all the messages are still listed in the message buffer.
 To view the entire message buffer, use the following command:

    BUFFER MESSAGES

 Then, to return to the buffer you were editing, use the BUFFER command and
 specify the name of the buffer you want to edit, or use SHOW BUFFERS to
 get a list of your buffers.
