EVE MOVE_DOWN — VMS 5.2

 MOVE DOWN

Moves the cursor down one line at a time.

o If the cursor is free, it moves down in the same column, whether
characters are already there or not.

o If the cursor is bound, it moves to the corresponding position on the
next line, if any, following the shape of your text. For example, from
the end of a line longer than the next line, the cursor moves to the
end of the next line. See help on the SET CURSOR BOUND command.

o If you are at the end of a buffer, the cursor does not move unless the
buffer is less than the window length and the cursor is FREE.

Keys: The following keys are each defined as MOVE DOWN:

        EVE Default VT100 Keypad
        ------------------------------------
DOWN arrow DOWN arrow or KP2
