EVE

 EVE is an interactive text editor, based on VAXTPU.  Using EVE you can:

    o  Create and edit more than one file in an editing session
    o  Use multiple buffers and windows, and resize windows
    o  Define keys, create learn sequences, and set EDT or WPS keypad
    o  Set editing preferences, such as bound or free cursor
    o  Use either VMS- or ULTRIX-style wildcards to search text
    o  Execute DCL commands from within the editor
    o  Run DECspell for a selected range or an entire buffer
    o  Compile and execute VAXTPU procedures to extend EVE
    o  Create section files to save key definitions and extensions
    o  Use initialization files and set private defaults
