MAIL QUIT — VMS 5.1-B

  Exits you from MAIL without emptying the WASTEBASKET folder.   Thus,
  if you enter the  DELETE  command  to delete a message and enter the
  QUIT command  to  leave  MAIL,  the  message  is still in your
  wastebasket folder when you return to MAIL.   (<CTRL/Y> performs the
  same function as QUIT.)

   Format:

       QUIT
