NAME
kUmem − UNIBUS/Q-bus virtual memory interface
DESCRIPTION
The kUmem character special file is an image of the UNIBUS/Q-bus virtual memory of the computer. It may be used, for example, to examine/patch virtual addresses mapped to UNIBUS physical space.
Byte addresses in kUmem are interpreted as virtual memory addresses. References to nonexistent locations cause errors to be returned.
RESTRICTIONS
The kUmem memory file is accessed one byte at a time.
