tz − SCSI magnetic tape interface

Syntax

For SCSI systems:
tz5 at scsi0 slave 5 (TZK50)
tz2 at sii0 slave 2 (TZK50)
tz5 at asc0 slave 5 (TZK50)

Description

The SCSI tape driver provides a standard tape drive interface as described in mtio(.). This is a driver for any DIGITAL SCSI tape device. This driver also supports n-buffered reads and writes to the raw tape interface (used with streaming tape drives). See nbuf() for further details.

All diagnostic messages are sent to the error logger subsystem.
