NAME

opser − ULTRIX-11 operator services

DESCRIPTION

The opser program provides a simple and concise interface to system maintenance.  The opser program has a full subset of commands.  For a complete description of the opser program, see the ULTRIX-11 System Management Guide. 

COMMANDS

backup Create file system backup. 

fsck Check file systems for inconsistencies. 

halt Halt processor. 

help Display on-line opser command summary. 

restart Restart multiuser mode (time-sharing). 

shutdown Shut down multiuser mode (time-sharing). 

users Displays list of users who are logged in. 

!sh Escape to shell. 

<CTRL/D> Exit from opser program.
