NAME
osload - load optional software
SYNTAX
osload
DESCRIPTION
The osload command is most often used to load items of optional software from the distribution media to the system disk. Essentially, osload is a shell script that calls the setup_osl program, which is also used during system setup. The osload script bypasses most of setup phase 3 and simplifies the loading of optional software.
The osload script can also be used to unload items of optional software.
The osload command can be used with the system in single-user or multiuser mode. In multiuser mode, however, make sure no other users attempt to access an item of optional software while it is being loaded or unloaded.
