newfs − construct a file system

/etc/newfs

DESCRIPTION

The newfs command provides an interactive, easy-to-use program for constructing a file system.  The newfs command automatically prompts for all required information: generic disk name, physical disk unit number, partition number, file system name, and volume label.  In addition, the newfs command provides on-line help information.
