NAME
chog − change owner and group of a file
SYNTAX
chog owner files...
DESCRIPTION
The chog command changes the user-ID and the group-ID of file to the user-ID and default group-ID of owner. The owner may be either a login name or a decimal UID, but it must be found in the password file.
If either command is invoked by other than the superuser, the set-user-ID and set-group-ID bits of the file mode, 04000 and 02000 respectively, will be cleared.
