netsetup − network set up program
SYNOPSIS
/usr/sbin/netsetup
DESCRIPTION
netsetup allows you to configure the networking software on your system.
To run netsetup, type the following and then answer the questions:
# netsetup
You must know your internet protocol (IP) address. If your network uses subnet routing, you must know your network’s netmask. The network manager should be able to provide you with the information that you need.
Note
If your network uses subnet routing, remember to enter the subnet number as part of the host number.

After the netsetup command completes, restart the system with the following command:
# /sbin/init.d/rcinet restart
Note: If you you restart the system with this command, first warn the Internet users that the network is going down.
Alternatively, you can reboot the system with the following command:
# /usr/sbin/shutdown −r now
