NAME

ls − list contents of directory - standalone utility

SYNOPSIS

ls

DESCRIPTION

For each directory argument, ls lists the contents of the directory; for each file argument, ls repeats its name and inode number. 

USER INTERFACE

Boot
ls <CR>
ls:
(at this point the user gives the directory name)
InodeName

Now follows a list of names and inode numbers.  When the listing is done, ls will wait for another directory name. 

When the user is done he should hit a <~h> or a <~b> to halt.
