NAME

rstatd − kernel statistics server

SYNOPSIS

/usr/etc/rpc.rstatd

DESCRIPTION

rstatd is a server which returns performance statistics obtained from the kernel.  These statistics are graphically displayed by Sun’s perfmeter(1).  These statistics are, also, displayed by rup(1C).  The rstatd daemon is normally invoked by inetd(1M).

NOTES

Sun’s design of this program limits the disk utilization statistics to be reported only on the first 4 disk drives.
