NAME

tifftopgm - convert a TIFF file into a portable graymap

SYNOPSIS

tifftopgm [-h] [tifffile]

DESCRIPTION

Reads a TIFF file as input. Produces a portable graymap as output. Handles black&white and grayscale TIFF, but not color.

−h Dump TIFF file information to stderr. This information may be useful in debugging TIFF file conversion problems.

BUGS

This is only a partial implemention of the TIFF standard. For a more complete implementation, check out the TIFF Software listed in the OTHER.SYSTEMS file.
