NAME
     rrn - remote rn newsreader

SYNOPSIS
     rrn [options]

DESCRIPTION
     rrn provides the same interface as the  rn  newsreader,  but
     accesses  articles from a remote host on the network instead
     of from a local spool directory.  The nodename of the remote
     host must be stored in the file /usr/lib/news/nntpserver, or
     placed in the environment variable NNTPSERVER.

     In order for remote posting to work, the file remote posting
     version of inews must be installed:

          ln /usr/lib/news/inews.nntp /usr/lib/news/inews

     This will cause locally posted articles to be  sent  to  the
     nntp  host  instead  of entering the local news spool direc-
     tory.   To  restore  the  standard  news  system  behaviour,
     install the original inews:

          ln /usr/lib/news/inews.spool /usr/lib/news/inews

     You must be root to relink the inews program.
