The BeOS does not support these proprietary APIs, nor will it.

Be has a robust graphics model already, and plans for extensive support for hardware acceleration for 2D and 3D graphics. The BeOS has its own implementation of OpenGL®, the industry standard 3D graphics API.

We're much more likely to put effort into refining and extending our existing 2D and 3D graphics software interface than in trying to license and implement someone else's.
