More Preferences
More PreferencesDevices, Sounds, Video, and Joysticks make their debut
New Preferences applications have been introduced to help configure the ever-widening array of BeOS-compatible hardware. Sounds allows the user to play designated sounds at certain system events. Video is video's equivalent to the Audio preferences application (the preferences application formerly known as Sound), allowing control of the flow in and out of video streams. Shown here, Joysticks contains support for a wide variety of BeOS-compatible josticks. For users truly interested in getting "to the metal", Devices permits the user to configure detailed parameters for various hardware, including IRQs.
