Will the BeOS support MMX technologies? That is, will it take advantage of MMX technologies on systems with MMX?

Taking advantage of the MMX technologies on Intel's (or anyone's) latest processors is generally a matter of recompiling the relevant code with a compiler that can optimize for MMX-capable processors, just as taking full advantage of the original Pentium required recompiling 486 applications.

Although the BeOS for Intel final release has not yet been compiled (it's not finished yet ;-), you can be sure we will take advantage of all compiler optimizations available to us when it comes time to build the final release.
