BeOS for Intel

Will software run on both the BeOS for Intel and BeOS for PowerPC? Or will I need different versions?

The BeOS for Intel will run only software which has been compiled for use on the BeOS for Intel. There will not be "fat" applications which run on both platforms.

That being said, given how easy it will be to port BeOS software from one processor to another, it will be very easy for software developers to include both versions on the same CD, or allow you to download both versions at the time of electronic purchase.
