At the present time, Be is focusing on delivering the BeOS for PowerPC- and Intel-based systems, and encouraging people to try it and developers to write software for it. Once we have begun to see the fruits of this work, we will look at the important features for follow-on releases of the BeOS.

The BeOS has already run on four different architectures and three different processors so we know how to port the system -- supporting another platform is simply a question of demand by developers and users, and time.
