The Be FAQs
The BeOS

I've been using NetPostitive for a couple weeks now, and it seems like it has gotten much slower. Why?

NetPositive keeps track of all the sites you visit, in something called the cache log. As you visit more sites, this list gets longer. When it gets very long, the current version of NetPositive slows down. For some people it slows down quite a bit.

The simple fix is to delete the cache log file. Be sure you have quit NetPositive, and then delete the "/boot/home/config/settings/NetPositive/NetCache/CacheLog" file.

NetPositive should once again be zippy!

<<Why don't mail messages I write get sent to their recipients? Can I use NetPositive to access URLs that start with "https://" or "shttp://"? >>
