BeOS for Power Mac

 

How do you get around the Mac ROM? Don't you need to enter the PowerPC supervisor mode to take over like that? How do you do that?

We actually don't "get around" the Mac ROM, we basically ignore it. Nothing in the BeOS executes code from or in any way uses the Mac ROM.

As for entering the PowerPC supervisor mode, we're afraid we're not allowed to talk about that. Sorry!
