We're running Free BSD and the Apache web server software on a generic Intel box (a Pentium clone @ 200 MHz). We co-locate the server at our ISP (WebCondo), so generally our server and the pipe that serves it are quite fast.

Why don't you use the BeOS to serve your web site?
