We thought long and hard about the issue of multiple versus single user, and have decided to focus on a single user with a single user's preferences for the initial releases of the BeOS.

In all, we're trying to keep to a personal computer's roots while not ignoring the utility and reality of multiple users, both local and remote.

<< Does the BeOS allow remote execution with local display (like X11)? Is there a way to add multiple logins for ftp, telnet, etc.? >>
