   NAME
         devnm - device name

   SYNOPSIS
         /usr/sbin/devnm [name... ]

   DESCRIPTION
The devnm command identifies the special file associated with the
mounted file system where the argument name resides. One or more
         names can be specified.

This command is most commonly used by the brc command to construct a
mount table entry for the root device.

   EXAMPLE
         The command:
               /usr/sbin/devnm /usr
         produces:
               /dev/dsk/c1d0s2 /usr
if /usr is mounted on /dev/dsk/c1d0s2.

   FILES
         /dev/dsk/*
         /etc/mnttab
