NAME
     lap_default - AppleTalk  Link  Access  Protocol  (LLAP/ELAP)
     interface

SYNOPSIS
     char *lap_default()

DESCRIPTION
     The lap_default routine returns a character pointer to the
     LAP interface name of the default interface as defined in
     /etc/appletalkrc.  It returns NULL on error.

STATUS MESSAGES AND VALUES
     If an error occurs, lap_default returns NULL, with a
     detailed error code in errno.

     [ENOENT]
          No AppleTalk interface exists.
