NAME oclock - displays a clock that shows the time of day SYNOPSIS oclock [ option ] DESCRIPTION oclock uses the Clock widget to display the current time on an analog display. Although the default colors for the Clock widget are black and white, the widget was designed in color; unfortunately, the X Toolkit makes specifying these colors in a device-independent manner difficult. If you want to see the correct colors, add the following lines to your resource file: Clock*Background: grey Clock*BorderColor: light blue Clock*hour: yellow Clock*jewel: yellow Clock*minute: yellow Options The oclock command accepts this option: -backing level Causes oclock to request a level of backing store from the X server. The level argument can be one of WhenMapped, Always, or NotUseful. Without backing store, redisplay of the window can take up to a second or more. This option causes the server to save the window contents so that when needed, the window can be redrawn from contents saved in backing store. Copyright 1989, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
