ruptime(1N) ruptime(1N)NAME ruptime - displays the host status of local machines SYNOPSIS ruptime [-a] [-l] [-t] [-u] ARGUMENTS -a Displays users who are idle an hour or more on the system in addition to the normal display. -l Sorts the listing by load average. -t Sorts the listing by uptime. -u Sorts the listing by number of users. DESCRIPTION ruptime gives a status line like uptime for each machine on some local network; these are formed from packets broadcast by each host on the network once a minute. Machines for which no status report has been received for 5 minutes are shown as being down. Normally, the listing is sorted by host name.
