NAME errstop - terminates the error-logging daemon SYNOPSIS errstop [namelist] ARGUMENTS namelist Specifies the system namelist. If this is not present, /unix is used by default. DESCRIPTION errstop terminates the error-logging daemon errdemon(1M). It does this by executing ps(1) to determine the daemon's identity and then sending it a software kill signal (see signal(3)). Only the superuser may use errstop.
