NAME
     makedev - prepares troff description files

SYNOPSIS
     makedev files

ARGUMENTS
     files
          Specifies the description file to be read.

DESCRIPTION
     makedev reads description files about a particular device
     and converts them into a form suitable for reading by
     troff(1).  Input to makedev is in the format described in
     font(5).
