reject(1M) reject(1M)
NAME reject - prevent LP requests SYNOPSIS /usr/lib/reject [-r [reason]] [destination...] DESCRIPTION reject prevents lp(1) from accepting requests for the named destinations. Use lpstat(1) to find the status of destina- tions. destination either a printer or a class of printers. -r[reason] Associates a reason for preventing lp from ac- cepting requests. This reason applies to all printers mentioned up to the next -r option. lp reports the reason when users direct re- quests to the named destinations or use lpstat(1). If you don't use the -r option or if you give -r without a reason, then a de- fault reason is used.
