     NAME
          etheraddr - get an Ethernet address

     SYNOPSIS
          /etc/etheraddr [slot]

     DESCRIPTION
          etheraddr prints the Ethernet address stored in ROM on the
          board in slot number slot.

     DIAGNOSTICS
          etheraddr exits with the return status 0 if an Ethernet in-
          terface and valid ROM are available.  A nonzero exit status
          indicates failure to find or read an Ethernet address for
          the host.
