     NAME
mactime - set the system time/real time chip

     SYNOPSIS
          /etc/mactime [-s] [-p minutes] [-m minutes]

     DESCRIPTION
/etc/mactime is used for manipulating the UNIX® system time
and the battery backed up time stored in the clock chip in
the Oreo. It provides one of four flag options:

-s Sets the saved time to be the same as the UNIX
                    system time

          -p minutes
Sets the difference between the saved time (in
Macintosh format which is in local time) to be
plus minutes minutes from GMT (UNIX time is stored
in GMT). The minutes value may have any value
                    between 0 and 1439.

          -m minutes
Sets the difference between the saved time (in
Macintosh format which is in local time) to be
minus minutes minutes from GMT (UNIX time is
stored in GMT). The minutes value may have any
                    value between 0 and 1439.

NO FLAG The UNIX system time is set to the saved time in
the clock chip. (This is normally the first thing
done from /etc/sysinitrc when the system is
                    booted).

     FILES
          /etc/mactime
