DSEE Tasklist Specifier:

Identifies a tasklist.

Description

A   number   of   commands   that  operate  on  tasks  and  tasklists  take  the
task_list_specifier argument.  Task_list_specifier identifies  a  tasklist,  and
takes one of the following forms:

   o ^Username  -  represents  a user's personal tasklist, such as ^pat and
     ^johnq.

   o Library_directory - represents a library's active tasklist  (the  list
     of the tasks in progress and those for which work is planned).

   o Library_directory  -master  -  represents  a library's master tasklist
     (the list of all tasks currently  stored  in  the  library,  including
     completed  and  active  tasks).  You can use -master alone to refer to
     the current library's master tasklist.

   o Pathname - is the pathname of a nonlibrary, nonpersonal  tasklist  (an
     arbitrary tasklist).

Thus,

DSEE>  examine task 2 -from //gp/doc/tasklist

returns information about task 2 in the tasklist //gp/doc/tasklist.
