read Displays the specified element or branch version in a read-only window. Format read element_name[version_specifier] Description read retrieves a copy of the specified element or branch version and displays it in a read-only window on the display. Type CTRL/N to close the window and clear the display. If you omit the version specifier, the DSEE facility displays the most recent version on the main line of descent or the source reference version, if a source reference environment has been set for the element.
