DSEE Monitors: Command Line Arguments
Commands for the DSEE monitor mechanism, such as create monitor and delete
monitor, take the following arguments:
o mon_spec_list
o target_library
mon_spec_list
Identifies a number of elements that are being or will be monitored.
Format
element_name | wildcard_element_name [ {element_name | wildcard_element_name}...
Description
Mon_spec_list is either a list of monitor specifiers, each of which can be the
name of the monitor's target element, or a wildcard element name that refers to
more than one element.
target_library
Identifies a library holding elements that are being or will be monitored.
Format
library_directory
Description
Target_library is the pathname of the library in which the elements listed in
the mon_spec_list argument reside (the library that holds the monitor).
