NAME
     lprot - List object protections for a directory tree

SYNOPSIS
     /etc/lprot [ -uv ] pathname ...

DESCRIPTION
     lprot generates a a file that completely identifies the protections
     assigned to pathname. If pathname is a directory, lprot will identify the
     protections of all the objects contained within that directory tree.
     Initial file and directory protections for each directory object are
     listed as well. The standard output of lprot will be a sorted list of the
     protections, followed by a list of all the objects to which that
     protection is assigned. This output is suitable as an input file for the
     setprot tool.

     For a description of the protection template, see setprot(1).

     Note:  /etc/lprot will only run on SR10.4 nodes.

OPTIONS
     -u   Displays the command usage

     -v   Verbose output

     pathname
          The file or directory whose protection is to be listed.  If no
          pathname is specified, the tool will automatically list the
          protections of the system directories:  /bsd4.3, /com,
          /domain_examples, /etc, /install, /lib, /lost+found, /sau1, /sau2,
          /sau3, /sau4, /sau5, /sau6, /sau7, /sau8, /sau9, /sau10, /sau_sys,
          /sr9.7_compatibility, /sys, /sys5.3, /systest, and /usr.  Multiple
          pathnames are allowed.
