NAME
     pio - parallel port interface

DESCRIPTION
     /dev/pio1 is the parallel port on the HP Apollo Series 400 Workstations.
     This port can be treated as a regular streams device, and can be opened,
     closed, read from and written to via standard UNIX or Aegis streams calls
     and programs.

     /dev/pio1 is configured from the file `node_data/etc/pio1.conf.  See this
     file for configuration information.

NOTE
     In a UNIX environment, `node_data must be specified as \`node_data.
