10.4;nrglbd (Non-Replicatable Global Location Broker Daemon), NCK version 1.5.1, 89/05/31
nrglbd - Non-Replicatable Global Location Broker Daemon
usage: /etc/ncs/nrglbd [ -version ]

DESCRIPTION
The Non-Replicatable Global Location Broker Daemon (nrglbd), part of the
Network Computing System (NCS), helps clients to locate servers on a
network or internet. The nrglbd maintains and provides access to a
global location database that stores the locations (that is, the network
addresses and port numbers) where server processes are running.

Typically, nrglbd is started in the background at boot time.

     The nrglbd uses IP protocols.

You should run only one nrglbd on a network or internet, and you should
not run an nrglbd if you can run a glbd on any host in the same network
     or internet.

See Managing NCS Software for more information about location service
     configuration.

OPTIONS
     -version
Display the version of NCK that this nrglbd belongs to, but do not
          start the daemon.
