audit_daemon - Audit Subsystem daemon for audited nodes
SYNOPSIS
/etc/audit/audit_daemon
DESCRIPTION
audit_daemon is part of the Audit Subsystem. It runs on audited nodes
and processes instructions from the audit program, which runs on the
auditor node.
audit_daemon is activated on a given node by issuing the audit -enable
command for that node. audit_daemon is responsible for establishing the
list of event types specified for the node on the audit -types command.
As events occur on an audited node, they are checked against the
established list. Those that match are written to the audit log file.
