mother -- Display location of root file system.
usage: mother
DESCRIPTION
mother displays the location of the current node's root file system. The
output of mother, specified as a device name, is for use by the setmnt
utility.
If node is diskless, mother specifies the name of the mother node.
EXAMPLE
/etc/mother
mother produces the following output:
/dev/dsk/W0d0s1 / # for a disked node
//nodename / # for a diskless node booted off node //nodename
