RWHO(1C)
NAME
rwho − who’s logged in on local machines
USAGE
rwho [ −a ]
DESCRIPTION
Rwho produces output similar to who(1), but it does so for all machines on the local network. If no report has been received from a machine for five minutes, rwho assumes that the machine is down, and does not report users last known to be logged into that machine.
If you have not responded to the system for a minute or more, rwho reports this as idle time. If an hour or more passes, you are normally omitted from the output of rwho, unless you have specified the −a option.
NOTES TO DOMAIN/IX USERS
For a node to accept incoming talk commands, it must be correctly configured to run DOMAIN/IX TCP/IP. See System Administration for DOMAIN/IX bsd4.2 for information on configuring TCP/IP.
CAUTIONS
Rwho can be very unwieldy when the number of machines on the local net is large.
